Angel Invades America 2 features Emily Willis , Paige Owens, Joanna Angel & Martina Smeraldi so got that movie to come out 1st before we talk about heading back over there. The Industry over there is so much bigger, Way bigger talent pool & every thing is dealt with through the model agencies which is totally different to the uk . You have the Pass testing system which we obviously don’t have in the uk . It’s just a much more professional business over there. Our industry is so much smaller. My journey into adult entertainment is a-typical lol. My husband & I had been married for nearly 10 years and were doing very well in our white collar careers. He was working as a biotech executive & I was working in marketing & sales for Harley Davidson. And then everything changed. My husband had a heart attack! While his cardiologist found that this was a stress induced event which left no permanent damage to the heart muscle, he did encourage him to consider a career change. For the previous three years he flew an average of 240 flights a year and was home about 9 days a month. It just got to be too much. He resigned from NHC and cashed out, which left us with a reasonable investment egg and zero ideas for what we wanted to do. Ultimately we decided to start a company called Grapevine Greetings, which created custom wine labels for special events as well as a commercial line which served essentially as greeting cards for wine bottles. Think of it this way, you are at a wedding reception and there is a bottle of red and white wine on each table. The label would feature a photo of the bride and groom along with a greeting or some personal sentiment. The commercial line consisted of wine tags and labels that featured wine related quotes and a place for your own personal message and signature. That way the person receiving the bottle would always know who gave it.The B2B was great, meaning we were doing well with wedding planners, wine shops etc. but we had no real ability to expand beyond what we could personally service. The revenues simply were not there to hire a sales team & this was our first attempt at building a business. Additionally, our online B2C business was non existent and we didn’t understand why. We spent nearly $12,000 for a website, something we knew nothing about and everyone exited on the first page. What we learned was that this gorgeous website was nothing more than giant images... huge images... averaging almost 2mb a piece all linked together. In 2004 high speed access predominantly via DSL was just gaining traction so those on AOL, Earthlink, Juno and most others simply could not get our site to load.. thus the challenges.
We began networking here in Raleigh NC and were introduced to some people who truly knew how to develop and market websites. They developed a new Grapevine Greetings site for us and then came to us with a proposal.To make a long story short, what they proposed was lucrative but required investment it was also in the adult entertainment industry. After careful deliberation my husband and I formed and funded a new company and set out on this new and wild adventure. We create an annual business plan & financial pro-forma, a marketing plan etc and then we go about executing that plan.
Effectively executing that plan involves a daily meeting as well as weekly conference calls with our accounting firm, attorneys, strategic business relationships etc. The rest of our time.. when we can find it, is spent shooting & editing content, going live on cam, updating platforms/websites as well as marketing.
I'm often amazed that we somehow manage to fit in things like shooting in LA, feature dancing etc.
Those same skill sets are used in both our mainstream and adult business. Truth is... they are also the same skills that we use to manage our personal lives as well.

Twitter is a remarkable vehicle for communication. I have done more business and have communicated with more fans via twitter than every other platform combined. It's not without it's challenges but the positives far outweigh the negatives. Twitter has specifically changed things for me in three important ways.
(1) Fan interaction and response, especially when they @ the studios drives demand. In the past, I only travelled out to LA every third month for 15 days & in the past two years I have been booked every day I'm there. It's demand that's driving that & demand comes directly from the fans.
(2) Media exposure. It's a different world. Every single television show, radio interview, speaking engagement etc has been initiated through Social Media.
(3) Mainstream Opportunities. Just prior to this whole Covid-19 mess, I returned from a whirlwind, three week, exploratory business trip across three states that had nothing to do with adult. I have no idea what may materialize in the future as a result of that trip but I can tell you this, I have made connections that would have never been possible without Social Media & I'm very excited about what may come of all this.

Anytime someone passes within a specific industry, those in that industry feel the brunt of that sadness. Things like suicide hit me particularly hard because of my family history. I lost my great grandfather, grandfather and father to suicide. My feeling is that we can do two key things to honor the memories of those we have lost:
1. Address the issue of online bullying / doxxing etc. Through positive peer pressure and lobbying to enact laws to punish those who engage in bulling & doxxing maybe we can squash the frequency and severity of these disgusting actions.
2. Provide or facilitate mental health services for performers. I LOVE talking to my therapist! I've been seeing one since long before my career in adult started and it's an invaluable part of my balanced life. Performers have to deal with a lot of challenging issues. I honestly don't have a clue how people who don't have a therapist deal with it all.
Who do you see as the rising talents both mainstream and on pay for platforms such as Only Fans?
Tough question!
What I've seen through the years is that some people have "it" factor. Some people have a special sexual skill or talent that gets them noticed. Some people are blessed with both! Did you watch porn growing up? Any major influencers on your career?
Yes, I did. Used to watch it when my parents were not around. Sometimes with my boyfriend and it was very exciting as you could imagine! It’s shot purely on a phone and a tripod how different is that to say shooting for Harmony Films? How does it come about?? Do you do your own makeup/wardrobe?? Had you seen Dean’s work before??
Well, it is different but the POV scenes and acting are essentially the same. I guess it was an idea. Aubrey Black asked me if I wanted to work with Dean. There were no rehearsals and it was exactly how you see it, all-natural chemistry. You have seen Deans work and he is amazing, a true professional. Harmony is a professional adult film company so the difference is that you are getting more camera points and obviously working with the elite actors in the Porn Industry and makeup artists, locations. The editing is more professional and the production is better and usually, you are being paid to be an actor, unlike POV.
Who do you see as the rising talents both mainstream and on pay for platforms?
Tori Cummings! of course. Seriously, there a number of great Australian, British, European and American (and from other parts of the world) actors (male and female) that are coming through the ranks. I was cast through a casting introduction meeting between the director at the studio and he interviewed me and other Porn actors. I think being a blonde busty Milf creating an Australian Sydney Beach Babe vibe in a character not many have seen was quite refreshing. Omg Tina Kay is an absolute legend, so worldly and talented I cannot t even to begin to describe how outstanding this wonderful lady is. She is a perfectionist and loves her work, is the first one there and the last to leave. She has her heart and soul on being a director and actress. She just won Best Foreign Female Performer of the Year 2020 at the XBIZ awards and I can see why. I do like working for big companies.
