Today we get a look at the industry from a male performer perspective, Marc Kaye is in the building today. So let’s gets to it….
Marc, welcome; for any fans that are hearing about you for the first time tell us a bit about yourself….
I am currently 48 years old and spent most of my life living in North London and have a background in sales/account management, estate agency and law enforcement. I moved to Cambridgeshire nearly 10 years ago following my divorce and I did my first adult scene in September 2017. I am a Tottenham Hotspur fan, my music taste is varied from Duran Duran to AC/DC to Maroon 5. My favourite food is Chinese and my last car was a black 2015 Mercedes C Class Coupe.
How did you first come to being involved in the industry?
It was totally by chance, I had some friends in the industry and a girl I knew at the time had just worked with Leigh of White Tower Studios (@LeighWTS on Twitter) and when Leigh said she was looking for new guys to film scenes with I was recommended and before I knew it was in front of the camera filming my first BG scene with the gorgeous Daphne Laat (@daphnelaat) The scene went well and Leigh said she would definitely be using me again and that was nearly 4 years ago. We still work together occasionally for her clients and are good friends. I owe her my first break in the industry and everything that has come since.
Fans may recognise you as the driving instructor from Fake Driving School, tell us about that and how it came about….. the scene with Amber Jayne is electric, the reverse cowgirl in the passenger seat, can you remember much about the day and the scene itself?
FDS was probably my first “high profile” and mainstream scene. I had met Georgie Lyall at a few events and we had got on really well so when she asked me if I would be interested in doing a scene with her. Obviously I jumped at the chance as Georgie is absolutely gorgeous.
The scene went very well and Ryan Ryder, who was producing at the time, decided to make me a returning character, the owner of a transport company that was using FDS to train all his staff. It just so happened that all my staff seemed to be female and highly sexed. In the scene with Amber she was playing my wife but had already had a fling with Ryan’s character and the company’s mechanic Mr Longwood. We were reminiscing how when we first met we had nowhere else to have sex but in a car and got carried away reliving our past together.
You’ve been around for quite some time in the industry, a lot of your scenes do have a very British feel to them. Are you selective with your work? The list of talent you’ve shot with is endless in all honesty.
Yes, 4 years is quite an achievement but I am quite lucky in that there is a shortage of genuine male talent in the UK that can actually do the job on camera and I have also made sure that my persona on film is very similar to my real one so all my performances are natural and enthusiastic.
These days I can afford to be selective but in all honesty the girls that I get asked to work with are absolutely gorgeous. Tanya Virago, Mariska, Louise Lee, Rebecca Jane Smyth, Tanya Cox, Tory Jackson, Lola Marie, Alexxa Vice and Eva Johnson are all ones that I remember particularly fondly.
You’ve worked for PlumperPass, FakeHub and AgedLove.com to name but a few; tell us how you get scouted for these gigs. Do you prefer working for the bigger production companies to say hooting you own content perhaps?
As a male you have to do what I call a probation period of about 6 to 12 months, both as a professional performer and content creator. This will allow you to build up a good showcase of work and just as importantly, a good reputation. As I said before, there is a shortage of UK based male talent so if you have a good reputation you will get recommended and the offers will steadily come in. You musn’t be too pushy or get a reputation for causing drama, at the end of the day the male is not the focus of attention on any BG scene. Professional scenes have always been relatively thin on the ground over here and especially over the last year when we have been in and out of lockdown. These days I shoot a lot more content but I do prefer this as you are your own directors and can just let things happen naturally and go with the flow. There can be a lot of stopping and starting with pro shoots and also certain positions which look good on camera just aren’t practical in reality. Also when you shoot your own content it is with someone that you want to work with so there is a definite attraction there which comes across really well on camera.
Over 12,000 followers on Twitter, how important is social media for you to be able to showcase your paid content?
Twitter is currently the best platform for performers to get noticed and make connections. The majority of my bookings have come from a DM, usually from someone who has had me recommended to them as a reliable male that can do the job. The downside is that Twitter does also allow a lot of people to create fake profiles or pretend to be something that they are not. A lot of the so called male performers profiles on there are just guys looking for a free or cheap fuck under the guise of calling it “content”
My advice to any new girl is ask for references, check the profile media (if there is any!) and ask yourself “Is this something that I can see myself doing and enjoying? Will it sell?”
Sound advice. Who are your friends in the industry?
One of the other great things about this job is the wonderful relationships you form with people you meet and work with. Socially we are all pretty normal people, not permanently sex crazed nymphomaniacs and I have met some amazing and fantastic people who are now firm friends like Princess Leia Organa, Devon Breeze, Belle O’Hara, Zara Du Rose, Louise Lee, Sexy Cleo and many, many more.
Yes, you and first ever guest on the blog Louise Lee do seem to have a great spark. What would be your dream scene and who would star alongside you?
I would love to do a reverse gangbang scene with just me and multiple girls. I could choose a dozen from those I have already worked with so far but there are still a few on my radar that I haven’t had the pleasure of filming with so from that pool I would have to include Betty Foxxx, Valentina Bianco, Cherry Carolina as I am an admirer of all of them.
We hope Emily Scot is one of those on your radar for sure. Do you actively watch porn in your personal life? Who do you enjoy most content wise?
Does my own count?!? I don’t watch anywhere as much as I used to, that’s for sure. Sometimes I will check out a girl I am booked to work with, purely for research purposes though! Back when I was a regular watcher I used to like most things from standard BG scenes to blowbangs and gangbangs.
Can’t beat a good Blowbang scene! In the office we love watching you with Rebecca Jane Smyth. You do appear a lot as a policeman lol. Tell us why you two seem to have that instant chemistry on set….
Rebecca was one of my fantasy women before I ever started shooting. I told myself that if I ever got to shoot a scene with her then it would be the high point of my time in the industry. We met at one of the awards parties and got chatting and there was an instant attraction but for over a year nobody thought to actually book us together. We kept running into each other on set but were shooting different scenes in the same films. Finally we decided to just shoot our own scene together and when Rebecca found out I had been a volunteer Police Officer in the Special Constabulary she told me that she had always wanted to “get fucked by a copper in uniform” the rest is very happy history. Since then we have worked together a couple of times and Rebecca is one of my favourites to shoot with. So naturally sexy and passionate.
We know you’ve just shot what looks like a phenomenal scene with Rhiannon Ryder, looking at your back catalogue what scenes are you most proud of? Which girls literally blew you away??
The last weekend was awesome. I was up in Manchester shooting content and got a phenomenally hot scene shot in one take with Rhiannon. She was an absolute dream to shoot with. I also did a couple of scenes with Alexxa Vice who is another extremely sexy and talented girl. Any content I shoot is something that I want to be proud of and for everyone to enjoy from the performers to the videographer and the subscribers and fans. The two professional scenes that stand out in my mind most are the the Fake Neighbourhood BGG scene with two of the hottest performers I have ever met, Karlie Simon and Princess Jas which was basically a full on fuck fest for about 40 minutes in one take. It didn’t feel like work at all and those two girls are amazing!
The other scene I remember well is my first pro BBG which was for Dorcel and involved Tiffany Rousso and Rico Simmonds. It was my first time working that close to another guy and for such a high profile company as well. They both made it exceptionally easy for me and the film “A 40 Year Old Wife’s Deep Desires” went on to win an AVN Award so we must have come across really well on screen!
What can fans expect to see from Marc Kaye now the World is slowly edging back to some kind of normality?
I have been keeping busy since the last easing of lockdown with shooting content as the relaxation of restrictions on meeting indoors and booking hotels/apartments has made that a lot easier. I am planning to do a few more content weekends around the UK later this year as well as shooting some professional scenes for companies that are looking for the older, mature guy. Expect to see me again as a Policeman/Stepdad/School Teacher/Businessman/Estate Agent again very soon!
